Max Devere-Summers
Assistant Ecologist
Max has always had a passion for nature and wildlife leading to completing a countryside management course at Brooksby Melton college. This led to an interest in the ecology sector where he started work experience with Ecology Resources.
Max went on to work as a seasonal ecologist with ER, gaining experience in bat, newt, badger and reptile surveys. Max joined Ecology Resources full time in April 2024. In his spare time, he volunteers with the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust where he has assisted with lots of aquatic mammal survey work.
Max secured a qualification in bat acoustic analysis keeping him busy throughout the season identifying a range of bat species via computer analysis.
