Miranda Cowan
Principal Ecologist
Miranda has been working in the ecology industry for 24 years and has a significant breadth of knowledge and experience to draw upon. As an accomplished project manager Miranda leads complex projects, from survey planning, impact assessments and mitigation.
Miranda is a licence holder for GCN, bats and even otters! Miranda primarily specialises in mammal ecology, having held a number of badger licences for main sett closures with mitigation design for artificial sett creation. Miranda also has a deep knowledge of riparian mammals, having worked on large schemes requiring surveys and impact assessments.
Miranda never goes anywhere without her dog Teasel, which is great news on the days she works from the office!
