Ben P

After a career as an IT Manager, Ben decided to follow his heart and retrain as an ecologist. Positions with The Wildlife Trust and other consultancies led Ben to ER’s doorstep in 2018.

Ben holds an MSc in Conservation Ecology, and his main interest is botany; holding a FISC Level 3. He also loves birds, bats, herpetofauna and riparian mammals, and doesn’t mind a marathon.

Ben is part of our specialist Biodiversity Net Gain team; assessing sites for their biodiversity value and making recommendations for how they can be enhanced alongside development.

He is also a CS38 qualified aerial rescue climber and loves to get up a tree whenever he can.
